This solar photovoltaic kit consisting of solar panels and the 5KW edison V3 hybrid pure wave inverter with MPPT technology is ideal for starting a photovoltaic system for your home. The 375W Photovoltaic Solar Panels used are particularly robust modules; the connection can be made from the cables present on the junction box on the back of the photovoltaic panel, through MC4 connectors (present in the kit). The Edison inverter is a high frequency inverter / battery charger designed to meet all the needs that the STORAGE market for photovoltaic systems requires today. The novelty of this new version of the inverter is the possibility to work even without batteries, directly from photovoltaics, from a generator or from the electricity grid. This new version also offers the possibility to remotely monitor and program the system with a Bluetooth system via the Android App. No structure is provided for supporting the photovoltaic modules. The modules have an aluminum frame that allows easy anchoring to your solar module support structure.

Edison V3 Operation in Inverter Mode with Grid Switching

The Edison V inverter, having connected it to the solar panels and programming it in photovoltaic inverter mode, powers the loads by drawing energy directly from the photovoltaic system. In the event that the electricity from the photovoltaic system is not sufficient to power the loads, the inverter will also draw energy from the batteries. The edison will switch to the grid or generator when the photovoltaic or battery power is unable to power the load.
Thanks to the presence of an integrated 80A MPPT charge controller with a voltage range of 120-450Vdc, it is possible to create a single string of photovoltaic panels up to a maximum power of 4kW, thus saving time and wiring during the installation phase.

Edison V3 Operation in Solar Inverter Mode Without Battery

The peculiarity of the EDISON V3 solar inverter is that it can also work WITHOUT BATTERY, but it is strictly necessary that the photovoltaic solar panels and the national electricity grid are connected to the inverter.
The reason why both sources of energy supply must be connected to the inverter is because the production of the photovoltaic panels may not be sufficient to power the load or even unstable due to cloudiness and therefore the inverter will be able to continue to power the load. by connecting to the national electricity grid.

Edison V3 Operation in Off-grid Inverter Mode With Batteries

In areas where there is no national electricity grid, the Edison V3 solar photovoltaic inverter is an excellent solution to build an island photovoltaic system in a simple and fast way, thanks to the presence of a charge controller inside.
In this operating mode it is necessary to connect the batteries to the inverter in order to provide stable energy to the load and have a stable system.
The inverter has different charge curves for different types of batteries including: OPZS, AGM, GEL and LITHIUM.

In the event that there are areas where there is an unstable power line with possible power supply interruptions, the Edison V3, through a special programming using the buttons on the front panel or via a computer, is also able to function as a UPS allowing continuity of the energy supply service to your loads, avoiding unpleasant situations. Switching from the mains to the batteries is completely imperceptible, avoiding the annoying problem of switching off loads during their operation.
In addition, the inverter can be programmed, the input voltage range, to safeguard loads sensitive to voltage fluctuations from the grid.

Remote Monitoring and Control

You can monitor and control your Edison V3 photovoltaic inverter either on site by connecting to your computer with the supplied cables or through its display on the front. The display is removable for viewing up to 20 meters away. Also included in the inverter is a Bluetooth interface that allows remote control and programming up to 6-7 meters via the Android App via your computer or smartphone. It also has a USB port for saving data through a special key.
