This solar photovoltaic kit consisting of solar panels and the 5KW EDISON pure wave hybrid inverter with MPPT technology is ideal for starting a photovoltaic system for your home. The 430W Photovoltaic Solar Panels used are made with PERC photovoltaic cells of the Half-Cut type in high efficiency class "A" monocrystalline silicon, reliable and resistant. They are particularly robust modules; the connection can be made from the heavy cables on the junction box on the back of the photovoltaic panel, through MC4 connectors (present in the kit). The EDISON inverter is a high frequency inverter / battery charger designed to meet all the needs that the STORAGE market for photovoltaic systems requires today. The 5KW hybrid inverter in this kit is composed of an 80A charge controller with MPPT technology. This type of inverter can operate both in UPS mode, thus giving priority to the electricity grid and subsequently to the batteries in the event of a black-out, and in inverter mode, giving priority to the solar panels and subsequently, in the event of a discharged battery, to the electricity grid. No structure is provided for supporting the photovoltaic modules. The modules have an aluminum frame that allows easy anchoring to your solar module support structure.

Edison operation in inverter mode with electrical grid switching

By connecting the Edison inverter to the solar panels and programming it in photovoltaic inverter mode, it powers the loads by drawing energy directly from the photovoltaic system. In the event that the electricity from the photovoltaic system is not sufficient to power the loads, the inverter will also draw energy from the batteries. The Edison will switch to the grid or generator when the photovoltaic or battery power is unable to power the load.
