Solar Inverter hybrid Edison V3 5KW 48V Charge Controller MPPT 80A 500VDC 5kW PV also without battery with Bluetooth interface and removable display
The new ED50V3B hybrid inverter is a 5KW 48V inverter with a 60A high frequency charger function and an 80A MPPT charge controller for photovoltaic panels designed to meet all the needs that the STORAGE market for photovoltaic systems today requires.
The Edison series inverters, can operate both in UPS mode, thus giving priority to the electricity grid and subsequently to the batteries in case of blackout; both in inverter mode giving priority to the batteries or even to the photovoltaic generator and then to the electricity grid in case the renewable sources are not able to supply energy, all following a logic of events that can be programmed through the display.
The novelty of this new version is the possibility to work even without batteries , directly from photovoltaic, generator or power supply.
The MPPT (Maximum Power Point tracking) technology adopted, thanks to an advanced tracking algorithm, allows the solar module to operate at the ideal voltage and to produce the maximum available power. Compared to the conventional PWM controller, MPPT technology increases the charge efficiency by up to 30% and decreases the solar power required for charging.
Dell Edison V3 Operation in Inverter Mode with Electric Switching
The Edison V inverter, having connected it to the solar panels and programming it in photovoltaic inverter mode, feeds the loads by withdrawing energy directly from the photovoltaic system. In case the electric energy coming from the photovoltaic system is not sufficient to power the loads, the inverter will also take the energy from the batteries. The edison will switch to the grid or generator when the photovoltaic or battery power is unable to supply the load.
Thanks to the presence of an integrated MPPT charge regulator of 80A with a voltage range of 120-450Vdc, a single string of photovoltaic panels can be created up to a maximum power of 4kW, saving time and wiring during the installation phase.
Dell 'Edison V3 Operation in Solar Inverter Mode Without Battery
The particularity of the EDISON V3 solar inverter is that it can work also WITHOUT BATTERY, but it is strictly necessary that the solar photovoltaic panels and the national grid are connected to the inverter.
The reason why both sources of energy supply must be connected to the inverter is because the production of photovoltaic panels may not be sufficient to feed the load or even unstable due to cloudiness and therefore the inverter can continue to feed the load connecting to the national power grid.
Operation of the Edison V3 in Inverter Off-grid Mode With Batteries
In areas where there is no national electricity grid, the solar photovoltaic inverter Edison V3 is an excellent solution for building an island photovoltaic system simply and quickly, thanks to the presence of a charge regulator present inside it.
In this operating mode it is necessary to connect the batteries to the inverter in order to provide a stable energy to the load and to have a stable system.
The inverter has different charging curves for different types of batteries including: OPZS, AGM, GEL and LITIO.
Parallel operation of the Edison V3 for single-phase / three-phase systems
For the realization of off-grid photovoltaic systems over 5kW, both single-phase and three-phase, the Edison V3 inverter is the product for you. The Edison V3 allows you to work in parallel with other identical inverters up to a maximum of 9 units reaching a maximum power of 45Kw.
In systems where the parallel between Edison V3s is to be realized, BATTERY USE IS STRICTLY NECESSARY.
Monitoring and Remote Control
You can monitor and control your Edison V3 photovoltaic inverter both on site by connecting it to your computer with the supplied cables or through its display on the front. The display is removable for viewing up to 20 meters away. Also included in the inverter is a Bluetooth interface that allows remote control and programming up to 6-7 meters via the Android App through your computer or your smartphone. It also has a USB port for saving data through a special key.
